Quality Management System Integration Specialist
Philips / RDT (Remote Digital Technology).
RDT adheres to the ISO 13485:2016 standard applicable to the design, development, manufacture, distribution and servicing of remote patient monitors with no exclusions. The processes also address the relevant US FDA current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) requirements for medical devices.
Objectives: to document and map QA functions and processes in preparation for upcoming ISO, MDSAP & FDA Audits and development of interim systems before full integration into the Philips/SAP environment.
Other activities include:
• Review and development of interim systems for the Returned Materials Authorisation process
• Review of Returned Goods Process
• Review of Non-Conformance Reporting Process
• Quality Documents Pre-Issuing Review, Approvals and Issuing Process
• Recommendation for RPA (Robotic Process Automation) implementation
I also conceived the "Hospital in Your Hand" Innovation/Concept where the Philips hand-held Lumify PDA Ultrasound device is enhanced with accessing patient records via Wifi connection. This streamlines the "end-of-bed" patient notes clipboards, data entry errors and the time it takes to update patient records. The results from the hand-held ultrasound can be directly attached to the patient's notes. It also reduces the demand on radiology departments.
This has been submitted to Philips Europe and is currently being reviewed for development.
