The user can call the operator from the mobile applications emergency icon, when the call is established the operator is able to see the user's location and profile, the call is put into a conference room so the operator can bring in multiple people into the same conference. We are also able to contact the local Embassy for this user by location.

My position at Quotatis was to maintain 150 websites ranging from SEO and web design front end development. and develop applications for the company's interest.
Quotatis is a lead generation company which provides free qualified leads in your area for all home improvement requirements. My role in the marketing department is to generate as much traffic to our sites using SEO techniques and designing a fresh approach to our websites. We started to use WordPress software to help us achieve the best results. Our major project of changing the API on all our forms is now complete; the current project I am under taking is moving our websites onto a new server which will make hosting cheaper and easier to manage. This requires moving files, databases and changing name servers.
My other requirements mainly involve developing applications such as a website checker, this runs on a task scheduler every half an hour to check our websites are running ok. Our latest project involves capturing our advertiser's click data from our directory sites, the click data provides a report for all our clients and notifies us if an advertiser is due for renewal.

I started work as a contractor to develop a simple Content Management System for a small business unit in the training site called Learning World. Learning World has 29,000 UK employees and 5 Academies to provide the opportunity to grow and develop the employee's skills.
In April I was employed by L&D Learning and Development for the major project of the new Learning World system.
As part of a three-man team I was involved in setting up a login system that would request authentication when you accessed a CBT, a CBT is an interactive online training presentation launched within the Learning World website, these were used for the employees to progress their skills and receive a certificate for the job role. The complication of the login system was to figure out how to self-register permanent staff automatically. We set up a SSIS package to copy a flat file and populate our database with the latest employee details; the login system was then able to distinguish between permanent and temporary members of staff. RAC, Contractors, temps and offshore clients would self-register their names and staff numbers to complete their training in Learning World.
Other learning materials consisted of Workbooks, Books, Programs and Workshops all developed by the Academies. An administration account was set up to help us manage the material for adding, updating and removing the content; a new catalogue was intended to be efficient and user friendly. The search results would be shown in an organised fashion by their format categories.
The plan for the catalogue was to redirect the user into the Oracle system if they were permanent and Learning World if they were offshore, this could also be determined from the login system.
Eventually the entire plan was to build Learning World for a front to export the users into the Oracle System. This would then lead to my resignation from the company as I want to continue my skills in web development.
