I'm offering
For two decades I have worked with industry-leading organisations to build and run successful websites and create compelling, shareable content that encourages users to buy. From building Official London Theatre from an unknown entity into a must use site and helping London & Partners launch their own theatre site to running show-specific content marketing and social media campaigns for My Theatre Mates, I have a wealth of experience creating and editing content that sells. My experience spans from project managing massive site redesigns to proofing technical reports and from conceiving big campaign ideas to producing brilliantly written copy to brief, as I have recently done for the Times Tickets portal and London Borough of Culture.

job
Theatre Editor
London & Partners.
The Mayor of London's official promotional agency, promoting London internationally as a leading world city in which to invest, work, study and to visit.
Online
• During my time at London & Partners, the content I created and commissioned, my SEO strategy and ongoing marketing of theatre.london raised user numbers by 400%, sessions by 372% and page views by 289%. Bounce rate dropped by 67%. This was achieved while aiming the site at new and occasional theatregoers aged under 45.
• I made immediate changes to improve the user experience, project-managed and launched a directory of London theatres that included access information and built a site that appealed to the target demographic. These changes were made based on my knowledge of the sector and information drawn from Google Analytics and audience insights.
Social Media
• Launched theatre.london channels from scratch. In two years I attracted 13,000 users to the Facebook account and 2,400 to Twitter.
Promotion
• While working on theatre.london, I identified the opportunity for, and delivered, a month-long ticketing promotion to support theatres of all sizes across London. This involved collaborating with Made, See and independent theatres.
• Brokered numerous competitions to drive users to theatre.london and led on sponsorship deals with the Off-West End Awards and the free theatre season in The Scoop to raise the brand's profile with the public and the industry. Also attended press nights and events to act as an advocate for the brand.
• Created a regular newsletter to promote appropriate and timely content, and ensured application of GDPR rules
• Oversaw PPC and Facebook advertising campaigns to drive users to theatre.london
Management
• As theatre.london's only permanent member of staff, I sourced and managed a team of freelancers, some of whom worked on regular contracts, others on project specific assignments.
• Managed annual budget for theatre.london
