Assessing
• Assessing candidates across the spectrum from HSC Diploma level 2/3 and 5 due to occupational experience in this field.
• Demonstrating my commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and equal opportunities - by enabling all my candidates the same access: whether needing to meet at a later time or location.
• Continually looking at the different ways of assessing and teaching any knowledge required I.e. observations, questioning, peer assessment, group sessions, encouraging various avenues of research and information gathering with the candidate.
• Responsibility in encouraging progressive reflection within candidates. Encouraging personal growth and development. Recognising that all assessments start with the candidate to ensure that they feel ownership of their course and work.
• Completion of required paperwork in a timely and factual way, demonstrating how I have supported, reviewed, feedback constructively to my candidate promptly and accurately throughout the assessment process. I ensure the maintenance of confidentiality.
