WEB DEVELOPMENT, UX AND ECOMMERCE

I’m highly skilled in web development, UX and editing, working closely with designers and creative teams to ensure that client websites and campaigns meet their commercial objectives.

As a User Experience (UX) and web content specialist, I analyse and develop the user journey for new and existing websites to ensure that each website meets its business objectives.

I usually work with clients from the very early stages of any new campaign or website:

- Attending pre-pitch meetings, to understand the client needs - face to face or remotely.

- Leading the creative concepts by briefing designers and developers and developing the initial user journeys.

- Presenting the creative ideas in pitch meetings.

- Continuing as a key contact between clients and creative to see the whole project through.

After creating the website architecture, I manage all the content within the build and development stage before taking an active role in the on-going management and marketing of websites after they are completed.

This also includes extensive knowledge in ecommerce. Not only in the build and design of an ecommerce site, but also in the day-to-day running and management of an ecommerce system, as well as the offline processes required.

I’m passionate about writing, with decades of editorial and copywriting experience behind me.

I’ve written copy and managed content for some of the world’s largest brands. Working in close partnership with my clients, I know how to interpret their style and brand guidelines, while adding a friendly, persuasive voice to all communications.

I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, targeting business partners, employees and customers, so I am skilled in adapting content to suit different audiences.
