• Conceptualized and created the UI whilst still keeping it very simple as the warehouse operatives were hesitant with technology.
• Used twisted asynchronous capabilities to allow the excel data sets which held all my information to be refreshed and saved every 2 seconds.
• Used pandas as my database framework as my dataset is ever-expanding so it needs to be futureproof so I wouldn't be coming back to fix little problems. Also used Sentry iO to allow me to see any error if one was come across.
• Created a database that is continuously added to allowing them to pull a excel spreadsheet off the server which they can cross reference with their own data to see how accurate their warehouse info is.
• Created an authorization client which was packaged as an exe to allow it to be easily installed in the future if the office had changed the PC's they were using at the time. This client allows someone from the office to authorise each picking list.
• Created a guide that has the auth client, server and warehouse client all included with steps on how to install new versions, use the app and restart the server.
