Mastercard Foundation - Take Your Shot
Across the Pond.
Encouraging an entire continent to take its shot.
In Africa the real COVID problem is not that there aren’t enough vaccines, it’s that people don’t want to take them. To battle this, the Mastercard Foundation and the team at Culture Riot asked Across the Pond to create a film that would move the youth of all African nations to get jabbed.
We decided that you can't fight disinformation and misinformation, with more information. We needed to find an emotional hook. Our research told us that this was a generation who see themselves as change-makers. We wanted to tap into this feeling and create a call to arms that showed how they could lead the way to a brighter future across the continent by getting vaccinated.

It was produced in association with Artemis Films and uses original footage and archive footage made available by ABPI members AstraZeneca, GSK, Novo Nordisk and Pfizer.
Our film has been released with an accompanying suite of up-to-date online resources aimed at providing a comprehensive overview of the UK pharmaceutical industry.
The new online content, intended to be an evolving resource, features over 120 slides (divided into chapters) that demonstrate the value of medicines and vaccines, the pharmaceutical sector’s worth to the UK economy, and the strides the sector has made to improve patient and health outcomes.
