I joined Ageas to manage the upgrade of their Active Directory, move from Windows 7 to 10, create a Citrix environment and roll out O365 to 3500 staff.
My main role was the as the bridge between of TCS (Tata Consulting Services), who had recently taken over Ageas' Infrastructure, Ageas Senior stakeholders and 3rd parties staff and resources. As owner of the central Project Plan I coordinated the Project Managers and Technical staff, both on and off-shore, to scope, cost, plan and deliver the correct environments for the Ageas staff.
Categorising staff using tools such as Nexthink, SCCM and Snow and creating a Proof of Concept environment for each. Working with internal Application specialists to confirm business requirements and user profiles. Making sure the current Applications were correctly licenced and capable of working in a Citrix environment.
Presenting risks and issues, and their mitigation, to senior managers to board level. Discussing and documenting with technical staff risks as they arose. Producing tailored Reporting on scope, budget and progress to various management stakeholders, as well as weekly updates and forecasts.

Returning to Interserve I was asked to manage the IT Infrastructure Project for HMP Berwyn. This was to provide six workshops for 520 prisoners, 19 Interserve Supervisors and 2 Admin staff, requiring IT to deliver business opportunities on site for the prisoners, to gain skills that will help them with work on release.
This is a challenging environment to work in where planning where communications are more critical than ever. I managed the Interserve Business, MoJ, HMP relationship, coordinating cabling and construction staff to a realistic plan though implementation of IT services and equipment.
Part of the delivery of this project was the re-design of the Virtual Campus software solution, offered by Meganexus, to enable Supervisors within the workshop to record Attendance, Non Attendance, scheduling and reporting. Using Agile principles to step though the functional requirements and wireframe screen walkthroughs, to working backwards from the reporting requirements to identifying key fields and layouts.
Having worked on O365 Windows 10 rollouts previously, I was able to help out with the Desktop Modernization Project, which comprised of 400 devices, of a total 1400 across the estate.
For all elements of the project I used Prince 2 methods for documentation and Management Reporting, Finance, Raid, Risk and Issues logs.

I was responsible for creating and managing the Change Control system and support the implementation in service meetings. With tight time scales and testing schedules, this was not an easy task with 26 environments, 5 pre-production and 3 for development.
I also managed several Smart Metering projects, these included working with 3rd party meter and mobile suppliers and internal teams to scope and capacity plan for the incoming meter reads, stand up environments for testing and move to production for applications that present the data to the billing systems.
