FELTS EVENT SERVICES Ltd.
Falmouth, Cornwall
Establishing and running a small business offering project management / consultancy services to companies.
Building on the high-profile portfolio of clientele, events and projects delivered throughout my career now
offering my services and expertise to a range of new clients. Services can include anything from tender writing through to site / project management for fit out contracts within temporary buildings / structures used for
high end corporate sporting hospitality / visitor experience, or the design and delivery of new exhibition stands for leading brands. Offering an end to end service I design, advise, manage and plan the procurement,
installation and subsequent removal of sub-contractor services working with third party suppliers to ensure an
extremely high level of fit out / exhibit / work is achieved surpassing the client's expectations. Key challenges
lie in the ability to enter a business as an external project manager / consultant, understanding a company's
processes, background, history, relationships with the end client and other stakeholders and then building new
relationships with the team, client and suppliers working with their processes and costing methods to ensure a
smooth project delivery, on time and on budget. References and examples of work are available upon request.

General Manager
Piggotts Company Ltd.
(Crown Group -parent company)
Ongar, Essex -www.piggotts.co.uk
Working as the General Manger for one of the country's leading temporary structure and events services
providers. The business is owned and part of a larger group of companies, The Crown Group (50M turnover),
with all 11 businesses at that time revolving around servicing the events industry. Reporting directly to the managing director and responsible for managing a team of sales and customer service staff, fifteen full time
site staff with an additional fifty temporary site crew, hired during the peak trading months. Set annual
revenue targets in 2011 of £1.55M, 2012 of 1.83M, 2013 of 2.2M all of which were achieved top and bottom
line. Operationally this role was very demanding and required me to work very closely with the Operations
director for the four departments, ensuring the delivery of all marquee-based events. Also required were my
attendance at company management meetings, sharing updates and financial reporting to the Group's CEO
and private meetings with the Chairman. 2012 being the Olympic year presented numerous challenges with the operation of the business being the busiest in its history within all four departments. This event was my
favourite and most challenging to deliver as I was personally responsible for the delivery of The Metropolitan
Police forces temporary site on Hackney Marches, for the Mounted Branch, which including the design and fabrication of 40 horse stable blocks along with office suites, catering and relaxation areas for the force during the build-up, event and post event breakdown.
