I am currently studying for a degree in Computer Science and to enhance my academic progression and support myself further I have chosen to engage in freelance design work. I am aware that my portfolio is still in it's early stages, and due to this I will be completing work at reduced rates until I have progressed to a stage I am comfortable asking for normal industry rates, however I absolutely will not compromise on quality or time management during the course of any project as my main goal at the moment is to showcase my skills and producing low quality work could jeopardise my portfolio.
I have previously worked as a manager in Lidl, a multi-national supermarket chain, however I feel I am in need of a career change as I wish to do something more fulfilling. To this end, I have began studying in Glasgow and now only work part time until I can fully support myself as a freelance software developer. Due to my experience as a full time manager my time management and deadline management is exceptional and I strive to complete any and all work to the highest possible standard to ensure there will be a minimal amount of future amendments which will in turn allow for greater efficiency and productivity while my software is in use.
