2006 - 2007
job
SVP/Managing Director
Young & Rubicam.
I was recruited to manage the joint operation for Young & Rubicam and Ogilvy & Mather where I oversaw operations for two offices located in Calgary and Vancouver.
• My primary task was to establish the potential for a merged office operation involving the merging of O & M into Y & R in western Canada - upon arrival I was faced with doubled-up teams across client management and creative.
• While my time here was limited, my mandate was to determine the viability of the existing operation and to make the necessary recommendations for how to streamline the business - given market conditions, unfortunately I recommended downsizing.
