Global Acquisition & Local Markets.
DAZN is a global sports streaming company which is live in seven countries; disrupting the media and
OTT industry by changing the way people watch sports through web, TV and native mobile. I am in the Acquisition and Retention team focussing on global acquisition, previous responsibilities include new market
launches and local market improvements. Whilst working here I:
• Led product teams to deliver against my local market roadmap (inc. new market launches) to drive
growth in all markets, and on DAZN's most complex strategic project in 2019; managing stakeholders
across all functional areas and markets to deliver against DAZN's commercial goal
• Built products to drive conversion - I launched PayPal on DAZN which increased conversion across
Europe by 2%. I built an internal CMS to create and manage marketing Landing Pages globally, this
increased conversion from 3%-11% and allowed Marketing to operate without a Tech dependency.
• Launched the acquisition and retention product in all of DAZN's new markets in line with the local
legal, financial, and cultural requirements - including the USA, Italy, Spain and Brazil
• Used data, multivariate testing, and market and customer research to understand the local market
needs, identify opportunity, and localise where there is value - I own the local market backlog and strategy on a global level
• Understood local legal boundaries, challenges and encourage creative solutions to deliver exciting
products - I enabled all of DAZN's European customers to take their subscription with them on
holiday in accordance with EU Portability regulations
• Built, fostered and led great teams to deliver local products on a global scale - including reusable
tools which support DAZN's commercial and marketing teams acquisition strategy
• Interrogated pain points in the product to improve customer satisfaction - I redefined DAZN's online
Help section and delivered features which have reduced related customer contacts by 5%
• Identified and initiated opportunities in collaboration with other product areas to drive business goals
