I'm currently working for a sign company based in Derby, and I'm their Graphic Designer. I've been working here for nearly 3 years. I mainly produce designs for shop fronts and van liveries so I've had a lot of experience in communicating with customers, in person and on the phone/email. I'm really wanting to start and work for myself but I need a few design jobs to get me started.
My average work day involves.. Answering all of the calls, answering the main email account, designing, speaking with suppliers and booking in customers for ready for fitting.
I've had over 3 years experience using illustrator and photoshop because before my current job I was previously responsible for a companies social media and marketing. I've used programs such as mailchimp to send out email campaigns to advertise offers etc.
