My duties to the children involved supporting the teaching staff with the new intake, establishing a
safe play environment for the children, as well as promoting language skills through reading and storytelling. I am also assisting with keeping classrooms and resources clean, supervising playtime,

Taken as a work experience placement, this role involves working with a small group to help
promote education and to develop potential in young people. Using my previous experience in
mentoring, I sourced, created and organised revision materials, and activities to help the
development of GCSE students. During my time in this role, I have enjoyed integrating and working with various members of the team to help them achieve their goals in both handling
sensitive data and organising files. Originally a non-paid role, the team decided that the amount of effort I had put into the resources I had made warranted a salary for the time I was there.

Publicity and Marketing Officer
Liverpool University Drama Society Liverpool.

Re-elected twice by the drama community, in this role, I had to deal with a great number of responsibilities at once - alongside my studies - which demanded a great deal of organisation,
resourcefulness, and dedication. I was responsible for the filming of productions and trailers,
documenting the progress of the plays, photo shoots, designing and creating the posters. I had
to work efficiently in a team, and was constantly communicating with other members of the
committee, the drama community, as well as the Guild of Students itself. Working with dedication and passion to provide the society with as much publicity as possible, I became more
social, capable and confident.
