Aceville Publications.
+ As art director I managed a small team of designers across five publications. On a weekly schedule we worked to tight deadlines to produce each issue working alongside the edit and sales teams to develop and elevate each release.
+ My main portfolio of magazines included Veggie, Great British Food, Teach Secondary and Global/What Franchise. With a mix of lifestyle and B2B titles I was able to flex my skills and experience for a wide range of audiences. In my role as art director I took each publication and honed each of their aesthetics, redesigning each title to their maximum potential, increasing market share and reach over social media. As part of the senior team on Global Franchise we achieved massive global attention and investment upon it’s relaunch, now holding events and awards in previously untouched markets in Asia, Australia and the U.S..
+ Spearheading the creative team I carved new paths and tapped in to dormant potential at Aceville. Elevating those around me by providing training opportunities, a collaborative work environment and weekly creative meets.
+ Creative work outside of my publications included marketing and promotional materials, art-working packaging for subscription gifts, creating the visual identity for awards ceremonies and sub-brands and working with Cliqq photography studios to produce stunning cover shoots.
