3D & 2D Motion Designer
Gamoola ltd.
After completing 3 months of work experience whilst studying at university, I was offered a permanent role at Gamoola. Here I learnt an exceptional amount, and was able to improve and grow on what started as basic skills. Through this time I worked my way up from work experience, to junior, and then a mid level role. This came with a lot more responsibility, from having more input into the creative process and taking control of project briefs, to liaising and communicating more with our clients.
My main role was to produce compelling and inspired animations which communicated the clients message in an articulate and creative way. Which were produced from storyboards either created by us or the client.
There were many other aspects I undertook during my time at Gamoola. At times the scope of work could be very varied and what we produced would need to be accessible across multiple platforms. Work ranged from internal corporate videos, to ad campaigns and even working on game development.
Throughout my time, learning new skills and keeping up with trends was imperative. With clients wanting to use new technologies to connect with their audience I also became very familiar with VR and AR software and how to produce these experiences.
