• K2M (recently acquired by Stryker) are a global health organization in the medical device space with a
focus on complex spine.
• Based out of Washington DC, this was a remote position where I collaborated with a multidisciplinary
team over slack, the app is used exclusively by US surgeons at this time.
• App was used to update/display patient surgical information, plan patient visits, aid in healthcare
insurance claims and record patient outcomes pre and post op via in -app surveys.
• Managed a small team of iOS contractors as well as leading the design and development of the BACS
platform,
• My team and I worked closely with 7 backend engineers
• Ported the BACS data management over to Swift from Objective-c.
• Architected largeyly using MVVM, the coordinator pattern, protocol oriented programming where
applicable, CoreData, Alamofire, Quick/Nimble/XCTest for unit tests with great code coverage
• Implemented a 3D toolset and Augmented reality solution for viewing 3D models of patient spines within
the app using SceneKit and ARKit
• While at K2M/Stryker I also released the counterpart Android app (Kotlin) and a marketing game built in unity.

running on both iPhone and iPad. iTrade supports multiple interface orientations on each platform and allows the user to switch between user interface themes (light and dark).
• Multilingual support was required, supporting languages spanning from Europe to Asia.
• Application regulated by the FCA as we handled extremely sensitive financial and user information.
• Agency work had me involved in a myriad of different projects, using features such as CoreData,
MapKit, Network APIs and more.
