the client has required the translation, often together with a member of the IT team in order to determine the best way to prepare the files for translation and how best to organize the project process.
After source analysis, an accurate cost and timing quote is provided, so that the final project invoice and deadlines meet the anticipated specifications. Meanwhile, I contacted the most suitable translators for the specific linguistic combination and topic for the project, making sure to be able to deliver the project by the deadline set in the quote.
For this role, I had to learn how works the Trados Studio CAT tool, together with the basic functions of other programs.
