This role has many areas of responsibility, with a strong link to my previous role to ensure that the business was still
upkeeping the process changes that had been implemented, one of the ways of checking this was carry out monthly
rolling stock checks on the assets that sit under various product areas. I was also responsible for carrying out a
similar role for the lifting department where I had implanted some asset control measures previously and again
oversaw monthly and annual full asset checks.
In addition to this I was also responsible for the administration of the Manned Guarding Team within Select, were I
am responsible for approval of all timesheets for submission to payroll on a weekly basis, training records, travel
requests, and general support to the team of 120 security guards across the business.
In August of 2019 I was asked to help with the review of assets with the accommodation business which saw me
undertake a full asset review of all assets within the standalone portacabin product, and a gathering of information for a database and catalogue of items in our hire fleet.
This role then developed further following my recognition that the product area had been neglected by the group
into a more operational role where I was overseeing asset requests from the hire desk and overseeing the
operations process of making the asset within our fleet ready for hire, ensuring that all assets went out to the customer in a uniformed condition ensuring that all safety and compliance document checks where adhered to.
Liaising with different internal trades such as electrical and plumbing services through to painting and cleaning
trades to ensure that the portacabin is receiving an end-to-end refurbishment.
