Enterprise Architect
Transformation Programme.
Yorkshire Housing
• Seconded full time on to the transformation programme where my work has received praise both internally and externally.
• Implementing MS Dynamic 365 platform utilizing the Azure platform and Azure data gateway enabling integration with legacy solutions.
• Supporting procurement process enabling the organisation to go out to market 9 months prior to the business requirements and operating model being completed. This was due to the approach taken (competitive dialogue) where the problems were identified and suppliers asked how their solutions will fix these and enable the new enterprise target operating model which is being fed in as approved. This enables the best adoption of the technical capabilities as these are then fed into the process design.
• Procurement looking at a cloud ERP platform to replace all legacy systems. Realisation that a platform offers the business more opportunities going forward, allowing early adoption of IoT or AI technologies once the first implementation is complete.
• Retraining from UML modelling with Rational Rose to TOGAF and Archi for modelling purposes using ArchiMate and SparxEA.
• Established an architecture function that has grown to now include two solution architects, one working on GDPR compliancy and the other on data architecture to support the transformation.
• Introduced an artefacts library and architecture vision.
