I'm offering
I'm a Manufacturing Project / Programme Engineer with a broad knowledge and experience gained f rom the Aerospace, Automotive and Motorsport sectors. Proven track record in introducing new products, process and technologies into established and start-up companies. I have experience of working in machining, sheet metal, plastics, electronics and composite f ields including the application of tooling design, cost reduction, capacity planning and operations management. I'm a highly analytical and methodical, dynamic, self-motivated and reliable engineer, I am able to provide innovative solutions to problem areas. A practical and creative problem solver with vast experience in engineering, digital manufacturing, NPI and supply chain product NPI and transfer. A growing passion of mine is the importance of digital manufacturing with emphasis on Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR and VR) and how this new technology can be integrated into existing business and data-driven processes to improve training methods, quality and standards adherence, and dramatically increasing process eff iciency. There are numerous use cases for AR/VR such as remote assistance, TPM, lean manufacturing and knowledge transfer.

job
Augmented & Virtual Reality Project Lead
Digital Manufacturing Systems.
Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR and VR) have been a passion of mine for the last 3 years. I
introduced AR and VR technologies to the business unit as a solution to optimise and streamline
the introduction of new products; focusing on training requirements with the objective to up-
skill engineers and technicians. Using my user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) skills, I
have produced a seamless, intuitive experience delivering a suite of assembly instructions in an
augmented reality format. The outcome of using this new technology was a reduction in assembly time by 70 hours on average per technician.
With my deep understanding of the digital twin, industry 4.0, simulation, visualisation and modelling, wearables and animation techniques, I have the foresight and ambition to continue to build and explore further projects using AR and VR. Along with my vast experience as a
Manufacturing Engineer and my understanding of this new technology, I believe I am well
suited to delivering and project managing AR/VR projects and wider programs capable of transforming business deliverables.

Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer/NPI Project Manager
Aero Engine Controls = Rolls-Royce.
Initially tasked with the role of supplier development to support improvement initiatives in both
quality and deliver f rom within the UTC Huyton facility. Developed a strong working relationship
with supplier and resulted in a 40% improvement in yield. As parts of a supply chain transfer of AEC product I was tasked with working for the Project Director to generate in source transfer
strategies and plans for a group of business critical components.
Key results to date, 80% cycle time reduction on key components (137 minutes to 21 minutes)
Opportunity to read across existing product group set within AEC. Improvement in key quality
characteristics and 12 month projected payback. Transformation of parts abroad.
