I am currently working towards a Psychology and Criminology Bachelor's degree with The Open University, giving me a whole new skill set to which I can apply to my work as a Virtual Assistant. These skills such as, essay writing, report writing, data summaries, working towards strict deadlines, plagiarism avoidance all to which can be written for a multitude of audiences including academic, general public or clinical personnel and patients.
I have recently earned the role of Communications Manager for the Kent Festival 2019, and have been given many compliments on my effort and hard work when supporting those in my team. Organising the festival alongside the Events Manager was testing. However, I took challenges into my stride and the festival was a success.
In the past I have also edited/formatted and rewritten clinical articles for FootFocus Podiatry. Taking content from well known medical journals and producing informative and communicable articles for clinic patients; while highlighting the services the clinic provides, as well as some sales advertising.
It is understandable in this digital era that computer skills are essential. I can assure you that I have polished skills in Windows and Apple based software including (but limited to) Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sway, Safari, GoogleDocs, GoogleDrive, Google+ and GoogleSheets. I have also used many platforms for data-sharing and project organisation such as, Asana, Streak, HubSpot, Zoho and other CRM software.
It is important to me that I am organised in my work and personal life, to allow me to dedicate myself to multiple projects and still be able to deliver a high standard of work, while meeting deadlines. I enjoy administrative work, but am not afraid to step out of my comfort zone to complete projects and learn new skills.
