Starting of as placement in 2018 I began working with HOME as a project assistant for CYA@HOME
(community arts northwest young artists) which is a
collaborative project between HOME and CAN which
brings young people of Manchester to a workshop group
every Thursday to take part in workshops to provide skills
for acting and performing, confidence building and creating new and diverse relationships between young
people. I have now worked on 2 performances with the group and have taken on various responsibilities within the group, such as acting in a pastoral role for the young
people to consult and confide in. I have also been a big
part of the creative elements of the performances, helping with set making, script writing, learning lines, directing
movement and working on projection and overall
performance qualities. Working with this project has
provided me with many learning opportunities, more
specifically the chance to experience working with young
people in theatre and appreciating the need for more
work like this.

at Nouveaux Morris Dancing since I was 3
years old and when I turned 19 I also became a teacher of the baby troupe which is aged 3-6. I trained them in their routines, technique and assisted
them with their competitions. Through the years of training I have trained all of the ages upto my most recent Juniors who are 12-16 years old. This role has
provided me experience in dance training, communicating with children and
young people, time management, organisation skills and experience with
choreography, technique and training. I am still pasionate and consistent with
the training and competing and Love to see the passion growing in the dancers themselves throughout their learning and dancing.

has included various daily tasks and challenges, completing Rota's for the 3
other staff members I manage, completing financial reports for my shop and ensuring that all figures are collated against out targets. Using our shop tablet to record health and safety matters, risk assessments and to complete daily
safety checks and stores orders monthly. I am also in charge of ensuring that the shops aesthetic remains to a high quality, by changing marketing, making
promotional corners and keeping on top of basic shop tidies and overall
cleanliness. During my time at William hill I have also had to undertake a
serious health and safety check and was able to aid the organisation in a high
standard awarded response for my commitment to helping the shop stay safe
at all times. I continue to make suggestions towards the improvement and
future of the business and I am always looking for new and innovative ways to provide a fresh and relevant feel to the shop.
