I have successfully worked on various power converter topologies in a diverse range of applications.
I have gained exposure to a R&D environment of international quality
and have learned to design Power converter and control of
exacting standards. I have worked on UPF rectifier, Inverter, motor drive and
Battery management of UPS. Good working knowledge of DSP based digital control of Power electronics converter
Good experience in writing assembly and C code in DSP. Expertise in
Texas instrument 2x series DSP, Altera FPGA.
I have expertise in switched mode power supply design, PFC, layout
guidelines, prototype building, assembly guidelines and EMC testing.
I have also worked on Brushless DC Motor, Finite Element analysis and
sensor less controller for axial flux machine electric hybrid vehicle.
Have gained experience in high voltage resonant X-Ray generator
during my work in General Electric Healthcare.
In Philips research Asia I worked on low cost lighting (HBLED)
solution for rural area, quick charging of LFP batteries, MPPT based
solar charging station and Non-intrusive load monitoring.
In Siemens Variable speed distributed drives hardware design of low capacitance inverter, SMPS, Thermal & Magnetic design.
I have worked with GKN hybrid power (Previously known as Williams Hybrid power) in flywheel energy storage systems. Power electronics for high power converter, design and control of high-speed permanent magnet machine.
Currently I am working as power electronics consultant with Automotive clients for design and development of high density DCDC converter . Successfully designed soft switched resonant converter for high voltage to low voltage high current conversion. Successfully tested and validated the design now its n pre-production stage.
