To give you a brief overview of my experience and skillset – I have researched in the AI group within the University of Bradford for 4 years. This group is responsible for AI research and knowledge transfer within the school of Engineering and Informatics. My role within this group is to build and optimize data mining and machine learning models for predictive analysis of complex social systems. This has helped me specialize in: Python programming language (including libraries like Pandas, keras, NumPy, TensorFlow), Big data processing (using Apache Spark, MongoDB, Nosql, AWS), Java programming language, Data analysis of structured and unstructured data using Python, Java and Knime, Predictive analysis and simulation of complex systems using agent based micro simulations.
In these few years I have:
• Headed a team that developed a Bayesian network model which was used in mining online social network data for predicting the outcome of different reality shows. My model was further applied with agent based micro models to simulate different scenarios to identify the impact of different influential users.
• I headed a team that built an agent based micro simulation model which uses an evolutionary algorithm to Predicts travel behaviour of passengers of the Metro Northern Rail, New York, using an open source travel survey dataset administered to 200,000 passengers of this public transport system http://******.**). This model had a 90% accuracy in predicting the emergent behaviour of passengers for any ticket pricing strategy applied.
• I headed a team which used Bayesian and graph networks to develop a test bed for testing computer network's vulnerability in the event of a viral attack.
Prior to my present engagement, I have worked for management consulting firms and construction firm as a business analyst and project manager respectively for up to a total of 5 years.
