I am a 22 year old male, who is currently working at Novotel London Canary Wharf. My current role is Senior Receptionist working in Accor's Flagship hotel in the world. I have been working within hotels for over 3 years and enjoy every minute of it. I first started at the Novotel Auckland, New Zealand as a Porter, before moving to Sofitel Queenstown Hotel and Spa as a Relief Assistant Manager. I have a great understanding of hotels and operational procedures which I believe can help me excel in many career paths. I have great experience within the Front Office department, working many different roles such as Porter, Concierge, Reception, Assistant Manager, Night Manager and Reservations agent. This enabled me to have the flexibility to work anywhere within the department if need be and have greater knowledge of the department to help and assist others if required. I have also had the opportunity to work in Food & Beverage as an F&B Attendant and in the Kitchen. I am passionate about trying to introduce improvements to operational systems and processes that guarantee efficiency and productivity to ensure that the hotel/product the company is offering is the best available service to the guests and going above and beyond their expectations. I've also coached Tennis across the country (New Zealand) from primary schools to intermediate schools and local city tennis clubs. This has taught me great leadership skills and coaching skills which have been applied to everyday life as well as my current/past jobs.
