• Performing Audit fieldwork, and testing of all areas of the financial statements.
• Advising clients and auditing the transition from Old UK GAAP to FRS102.
• Taking audits from planning through to completion, including managing teams of between 2 and 6 people.
• Involved in the National campaign to help "create a vibrant economy" including table hosting at a recent event in the south west.
• Helped to successfully integrate 2 separate audit teams (commercial, and Public Sector) into one combined Audit team.
Examples of client engagements:
• Large FTSE listed PLC within the social housing sector, who prepare financial statements under IFRS.
• Large group of oil and gas based businesses, with a turnover of approximately £100m. Deeply involved in the conversion from UK GAAP to IFRS.
• Private Equity backed, group of holiday lettings companies. Auditing frequent acquisitions, and a "non-basic" loan instrument.
• Large European Retail, wholesale group which has recently been acquired by a US Listed Parent. European Group turnover approximately £200m. Client uses a perpetual Inventory system to manage its £60m Inventory levels across numerous sites.
• Majority of other engagements are medium sized entities, with a turnover between £30m - £100m.

• Preparation of Consolidations for between 2 and 10 entities, including in year acquisitions.
• Review of consolidations prepared by clients for technical accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Preparation of Accounts both single entity and Consolidated using CaseWare.
• Review of Financial Statements at the first draft stage, and processing relevant amendments.
