Bupa.
on a project to replace the medical underwriting system that was 20 plus years old on a main frame. I needed to design a CRM component that could be used to capture all information relating to a medical underwriting conversation with a perspective member and / or a member with a moratorium policy which is underwritten at first claim.
Within my solution I needed to have the capability that the person would be underwritten at any date but against questions / criteria that would have been used on the policy start date whether that is in the past or 30 days in the future.
I have incorporated 2 pieces of code to display the version-controlled questions in a logical sequence but everything else I functionally built.
I was designing / building this on a very collaborative basis with workshops with the end users where we would explore, create a POC and then play back over a 3 day period and then capture the refinements for stories to be delivered in the official delivery phase. Through the workshops it became apparent that some "as is" situations were because of technology constraints and / or they hadn't been challenged to do another way with the support of technology.
The solution that I built has been received by both the sales users and the medical underwriting super users positively. On average my solution delivers the following;
• Reduces the time to identify a medical condition by 2 - 3 minutes
• Reduces the time to underwrite a symptom with a known cause by 10 minutes
• Reduce the amount of calls to the Medical Underwriting team by around 75%
• Will reduce the number of QA failures due to a more user friendly application and logical design

I worked with a few private clients helping them to configure and develop their CRM Dynamics 2013 platforms. This work was adhoc.
My clients have Included SafeSTS, CNT, Bristol and Wessex Water and Objective Computing where I looked at their 2013 build of the system, provided training and advice' of how it can be configured to best support their sales process (including additional entities to capture their technology products and client sectors) and the both configured the functions and taught them how to develop these areas so they can start to be self-sufficient for future needs.

2011 - 2012
job
sole Trainer to support circa
Arup.
(Contract July 2011 - April 2012)
Working on a Global Microsoft Dynamics CRM rollout I designed the training component. As the sole Trainer to support circa 6000 global users I followed a TTT approach for delivery and to support this created a Training and Information SharePoint Wiki (over 250 pages), byte size E-learning modules using captivate (over 150 items) and course materials, exercise books an post course exercise cards (over 100).
The time I was given for each course delivery was very 'economical' so I needed to maximise the content during the sessions as well as prepare people for continued learning after the session. I needed to design an approach for the supporting documents where I could make the team trainers / super users responsible for their own continued learning.
My audiences were end users, Administrators, IT Support, Marketing and 'Sales'.
For a delivery phase I delivered In Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, UAE, Ireland and UK over a very aggressive 10 week period. All courses were 100% hands on teaching my mixed audiences CRM structure, application process, new business principals and integrations with existing applications. The audiences were both enthusiastic and challenging and I was facilitating many discussions outside of the training course and potential approaches they could take for deployment going forward.
As a small team of 3 running the delivery rollout we all worked together and overlapped on roles so where necessary I also wore a hat of BA looking at getting structures and customisation correct on the application, support or managing and re running work flows and creating global views and also looking at data quality from legacy applications to migrate into the new application.
