Will It Make The Boat Go Faster.
Will It Make The Boat Go Faster? are a management consultancy who specialise in helping businesses to improve their performance. As Head of Marketing I've been responsible for creating and delivering the marketing strategy for the entire business, generating leads, and owning the brand.
• Created marketing strategy and plan for 2019 and for 2020, successfully managing the budget in that time.
• Oversaw development of a new company website, personally produced all the new content and worked closely with designers to improve user journey and conversions (due to go live in Feb 2020).
• Replaced incumbent PR agency with new firm and saw a 400% increase in earned coverage, including coverage on ITV, Sunday Times and widely in the trade press. Managed relationship with both agencies.
• Ran multiple direct campaigns (direct mail and e-mail) which generated 50+ CEO/MD leads and £250k+ worth of opportunities into the sales pipeline, delivering substantial ROI.
• Created a new suite of materials for the sales team, including all new proposal decks and created updated set of brand guidelines.
• Organised and ran six events, all reaching capacity and continue to generate ROI for the business.
• Managed social media platforms, seeing a 33% organic increase in followers on our core channel (LinkedIn) generating great engagement.
