I joined as a junior designer and office administrator, and it was a position that enabled me to gain a great understanding of the print world, from managing complicated large-run print jobs to preparing files to press. As well as design I also acted as a salesperson, speaking on the company's behalf at business networking events - chiefly the BNI, of whom I was the youngest member in the UK at the time. After 6 months I moved into heading up the digital team and putting in place a system for its growth.
