1. Data Infrastructure
The business employs third party service providers to create and maintain the gaming platform. These multiple data sources require a complex set of ETLs to centralise the data and provide an analytical data set.
2. Reporting
Tableau is the reporting interface for viewing and visualizing the business KPIs. This reporting suite is a continuous project to refine the Key metrics for all business departments to make decision making as simple as possible. Recent projects include:
• Restructuring the reporting hierarchy to make reports easier to find.
• Standardising reporting metrics and removing duplicate / overlapping reports.

The data projects which can't be automated through Tableau. These include.

Oversaw development on real-time reporting system for subscription price testing. Designed model using bootstrapped empirical data to hypothesis test variants vs control. Supports ongoing evaluation and refinement. Resulted in customer LTV uplift of 12% across the dating platform between November 2011 and August 2012.
Implemented backtested LTV predictive model to estimate long term customer value over multiple evaluation periods, accurate to ± 2% for over 80% of partner dating sites.
Optimised member retention/churn strategy for the credit card subscription re-bill model. Multiple retention strategies with and without offer incentives were tested against a modified LTV model. Results increased customer LTV by over 6% and increased active member base.
Managed the transition to an enterprise level finance/accounting system. Designed ETL processes and automated SQL data aggregation scripts to load back-end platform data into new platform for automating board level reporting, and enable daily financial analysis.
