Summary
Part of the controls architecture group, carrying out hydraulic analyses of subsea production control systems (brown/green field and open/ closed loop systems) and supporting projects with hydromechanical issues.
Responsibilities
o Develop CTRs and perform analyses of front end engineering designs to assist with tenders.
o Translate system/ element level schematics into an analytical model using SimulationX.
o Identify implications from changes in hydraulic system architecture and elements.
o Perform system analyses to verify selected elements perform safely, efficiently and in accordance with client/
industry standards (API 17 F & ISO 13628-6).
o Solve problems by advising alternative solutions where requirements are not met.
o Ability to manage own workload with adherence to defined practices and procedures, ensuring progress is
recorded and monitored.
o Supported workshop technicians with testing of subsea modules and verifying fluid cleanliness in accordance with SAE AS 4059 Class 6.

o Advised projects on critical solutions which ensured the safety and quality of the control systems we delivered.
o Restarted the hydraulic analysis global monthly team meeting and presented at the controls forum to spread best
practice, spark proposals for continuous improvement and innovation.
