I grew up in Yorkshire and now live in London. I have worked as a copywriter, content writer and editor for a number of organisations and publications, including some of the most prestigious architecture firms in the world. I have produced books, magazines and brochures, and written a novel.

Most recently, I have had a lengthy freelance stint at VCCP, where I worked as a creative copywriter on brands including O2, Shell, Harveys & Bensons, and on a big pitch for new work.

As marketing manager for Eckersley O’Callaghan, I was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the practice’s marketing, from launching a new website, writing new brochures, creating press releases and news articles, and managing the in-house graphic design team and external design consultants. While at EOC, I collaborated with stakeholders, including Apple, Google, Vitsoe and NASA.

In my spare time, I draw, paint, write, and run ‘Convenient Comedy’, a stand-up comedy night in Finsbury Park. I once spent six hours making a sandwich. It was worth it.
