• Headed the development and implementation of a highly successful three-year integrated marketing plan to promote the redevelopment of the £750m Birmingham New Street station. Developed key messages focusing on technical excellence using project milestones as the main hook.
Oversaw the 2015 launch strategy which saw Mace sponsor a £20k launch event which was leveraged to secure significant national and regional press coverage. One news clip alone received 12,000 online views and four technical features were secured. Senior stakeholders from HS2, Network Rail and the Department for Transport attended. The project won 18 industry awards including Building.
• Introduced a £30k, six-month programme management positioning and thought leadership campaign with NCE magazine, a first for the company. This work showed the significant value that Mace could achieve by taking a campaign based approach. Three direct enquiries received, 400 webinar views and client engagement with Network Rail, Highways England, Thames Water and EDF Energy.
• Worked with Mace's development team to promote its Greenwich Square, Newington Butts, Assam Place and Deaconess House mixed use development schemes. This included working with and managing their respective B2C PR agencies on several events and PR as well as leading communications activities with clients such as the GLA.
• Devised major thought leadership campaign with leading think tank Centre for Cities to develop a research report called 'Delivering Change - making transport works for cities'. Key stakeholders from TOC's, regional authorities and transport bodies built relationships with Mace.
