I'm offering
I have had a few years experience of working in a sales and marketing industry. For the past 5 years I have been working in a school and raising my family along side. As my children a little bit older I am looking to go back to the corporate industry and start my career where I can learn and grow and take my career to new heights.

job
Teaching Assistant/cover supervisor
Our Lady's and St. Joseph Primary school.
Duties: My main role centred on assisting the teaching staff. My duties included:
• Coordinate day to day lessons with the class teacher and other support staff
• Assist with the safe guarding and well-being of children
• Organize and distribute learning resources and plan and develop teaching aides as instructed
• Design and implement lesson plans and curriculum
• Manage student behaviour as appropriate
• Organising and participating in fund raisers and events to aid the school financially
Additionally, I help run the Rainbow Bereavement charity group on behalf of the school. This involved communicating with parents and obtaining their consent to speak to their children on relevant topics to provide a platform for them to express their feelings and emotions. The aim was to deal with situations in a positive and effective manner whilst ensuring the policies of the school and the structure of the charity is adhered to. I would also liaise with Safe Guarding Officers for matters which required legal attention.
Currently I am also a member of the Well Being Committee specifically designed to create and implement initiatives to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of the staff. Support includes counselling and drop-in sessions, organisation of social and charitable events. I am responsible for the free breakfast club and run a very popular yoga and meditation class. I also help take minutes of the meeting, circulating the agenda to the senior stake holders and the external bodies. As well as liaise with the finance department for the budget.
