• I am a trained TOEFL Teacher for the PMU teaching intermediate and Advanced levels.
• I am a ILETS Teacher too.
I Collaborated with and constructed making internet resources for fellow instructors for the subject of Enhanced Learning, so the trainee teachers who teach small groups and one to one classes. Also, I made resources for the Beginners Section in the faculty; it was part of my job
• Role to offer lesson guidance and resource support which came in the form of (pre-made lesson plans with sequenced resources.)
• All teaching I used cooperate learning strategies, such as: Jigsaw, Kagan and PPP where independent learning was fostered using a range of learning applied skills which were: pair-share/write-pair-share: circle of writers-speakers: before and after quizzes: Talking chips and Mind Mapping to encourage positive independence, learning. accountability and student participation WHILE DEVELOPING THE DEMOCRATIC LEARNING PROCESS.
• Researched and made PowerPoint presentations, or sometimes daily and weekly for a specific aspect of grammar, writing, or reading level lessons.
• Produced PowerPoints for presentations for our monthly PD in the Prep Faculty.
• Assessment used is: Four exams over a year's duration with one exam per month leading up to the final exam at the end of each semester (SE1-4.) I was a proctor for the duration of my time at the PMU too.
• I am a Writing Teacher for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced levels teaching essay construction and writing for the Prep Faculty. For this I hand- marked all my classes' course work, which was manually as well as electronically recorded on assessment called Blackboard completing at least 4 semesters a year of exam preparation, invigilation and marking for all my classes, and absent teachers.
• Also, I am a Communications Teacher teaching reading, vocabulary, spelling and speaking & Listening combined. All assessment manually as well as electronically recorded on Blackboard for assessment purposes.
• I too, was an Enhanced Learning Teacher as well as it's section leader and it was my role to support and create a learning framework of LP's and resources for my colleagues who were new to teaching..
• Also, I taught Study Skills which is an English-based subject and all assessment was manually and electronically recorded on Blackboard.
