Leading leisure car rental company in the UK
I was asked to re-join Affordable Car Hire to launch their new motorhome platform to the travel industry through the B2B channel on a global basis with a clear focus on the UK and Irish markets and to re-establish links of the ACH brand name in the industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Fully responsible for the sales & marketing activity of the GSA's in Italy, India, UAE and Sweden plus overall sales in the UK, working closely with the mainstream agents and the consortia, OTA's and tour operators, ensuring we retain market share and growing any possible new avenues of growth. Implementing creative training, presentation and mentoring to shop level and above.
• Sourcing new leads by mapping any potential customers and generating contact with the view to initialising the buoyancy of their current outbound traffic and where the specific agent, OTA or TMC is operating with the knowledge of them selling either B2B or B2C or both. Always accessing the current level of business in the car hire field with a view to establishing them as either a Preferred Sales Agent, a potential GSA or an International Representative in whichever country they are based.
• Understanding of competition with the ability to close a deal to benefit both client and business.
• Account management of established business relationships, ensuring clients are working inside of contract and to project manage brand promotion.
