Partnerships Manager
DROVER LIMITED.
High-growth VC backed tech start-up offering flexible, all-in car subscriptions to tech-savvy consumers; I joined during its first
recruitment drive. It has grown to 150 staff, doubling turnover year on year. Part of the team that oversaw growth from 250 live
subscriptions to 3,500. Responsible for growing supplier accounts, partnership relations and business development.
Partnerships Manager 1 and a half years
§ Sold commercial opportunities to new and existing partnerships, working individually and within a team. Increased supply
of vehicles to maintain company growth targets, introducing 500 new vehicles to Drover's platform
§ Negotiated rates and secured the first batch of electric cars (50) to help secure a key commercial opportunity with Uber to capitalise on new government emission regulations relating to the Private Hire sector
§ Ensuring the availability of at least 100 cars across London at any given time listed on our website, provided via 90 micro
and SME partnerships
§ Implemented new strategic approach focusing on key accounts to build more scalable business relationships and persuading them to increase investment in cars
§ Hosted regular meetings with partners to ensure company objectives are met, developing joint business plans for growth.
On-boarded 15 new supply partnerships to the company.
§ Continually mapping out potential partners in Hubspot (CRM system), approaching them and setting up meetings for
senior management
§ Creating quarterly supply growth forecasts and recording results via Google Sheets
Operations Manager 6 months
§ Tasked with the day-to-day operational management of our largest commercial supply partner (a Europcar subsidiary) and also supported our SME and micro partners in an operational capacity
§ Oversaw growth from 50 live subscriptions to 500 on the key account working collaboratively alongside them to ensure
internal processes at Drover and Europcar subsidiary worked in tandem. This involved the implementation of processes to ensure correct cars were booked amongst sales and customer service teams.
§ Accurate processing and amending of bookings to tight hourly deadlines
§ Partnered with the Product team to improve features as we transitioned to working with a large partner from a previous
strategy of working solely with SME and micro businesses and used Customer Service experience to share necessary
feedback such as advising the correct documentation required before listing any car on the website - reducing booking
cancellations a week to 5% or under from originally 30% on average whilst maintaining growth.
Customer Experience Associate 1 year
§ Problem solving of customer issues, up-selling where appropriate and processing bookings on company in-house built
CRM database
§ Friendly, can-do attitude overcoming the early obstacles of being a new disruptive entrant to market whilst internal
structures were still being formalised
Additional responsibilities of note
§ Helped shape our branding and visual identity as part of an internal working group working with a world-class brand
agency
§ Selected to participate in workshops with a specialist agency to define the company's purpose, mission, vision and core
values and create a culture deck
§ Project managed branded printed collateral for clients/customers
