I am a home based childminder working with children from ages 6 months to
11years. In my job there is various different roles, my main role is managing my
business and ensuring the safety of all the children are met. I have Ofsted who carry
out checks on my business to ensure I am working to the correct standards /
following the procedures for the children in my care. I very much enjoy working with children and watching them progress up into school age.
My other duties are to liaise with parents, schools, nurseries and other professional
bodies so communication is a must. I am responsible for all invoices / paperwork
either related to the business or children. I have to carry out observations on the children to ensure they are meeting the correct targets for their ages. I have to carry
