Contract Administration Commercial Assurance Change management
Commercial Assurance/Contract Administration
Currently working on new asset delivery in a capitalised asset delivery model. Supporting project implementation from early business case development, to establishing the estimating principals to enable budgeted project delivery. This is
aimed at ensuring a measured risk approach to project delivery, with a complete P&L accountability of project lifecycles.
This entails obtaining buy-in from project sponsors to achieve timely delivery, and galvanising stakeholder support to ensure successful delivery of a capital investment programme from CAPEX to OPEX.
Delivery complexity is reflected through CAPEX combined with maximising capital efficiency and effectiveness, future
planning and safeguarding managed growth. Advocating the correct approaches to tender, contract delivery, and providing
commercial assurance in capital investment. Within this environment are professional services, and principal contractor
appointments delivered through the NEC contract suit managing a current portfolio of over £25m per annum
The role also has the added responsibility of developing young quantity surveyors, and mentoring skills as part of the development progression planning.

team
Commercial/Change Management
Delivered high value change management team through the PFI capital investment. The role called for strategic planning and delivery, liaising closely with local government. Piloted the delivery of design management, professional service
appointments, & contract administration. Implementing Lean processes, identifying defined work streams to meeting the
business model, and developing delivery teams. Responsible for delivering project management, reporting P&L, business
risk analysis, and strategic planning that lead to improved controls and efficiencies in operational processes.
In undertaking the above, stakeholder liaison, risk & opportunity management, and project development through
consultation, were a means of providing an analysis of contracts at every level. The conception & delivery of business
delivery plans, and a strong client facing role focused on partnering and a collaborative approach.
As the high value change manager, I managed a portfolio of £40m annually, and provided the framework with conflict
resolution and risk management, as well as the centralised visibility to help planning and scheduling to identify the most
effective approach to deliver specific work streams and the programm. As a key deliverable to meeting service delivery, the
