breakout areas and a fine dining VIP lunch awards for Women in Tech. The event attracted sponsorship from Barclays and GoCompare and was again recognised for its positive impact on the digital industry in Wales.

Brought on board to launch Xfm in South Wales. To reach our target audience our strategy was based around live
music, drawing the attention of the community through a series of events with high-profile guest such as Stuart
Cable, Super Furry Animal, Manic Street Preachers and Pritchard and Dainton. The events ranged from small
intimate gigs across South Wales, to a high-profile music award ceremony and large capacity concerts.
Unfortunately, due to a change in the OfCom radio regulations within a year of launching the station, the radio group
were forced to sell the station which brought the role to a premature close.
Responsibilities -
• Playing an integral part of the Xfm South Wales management team, overseeing all aspects of event management
including creative conception, logistics, budgeting, venue booking, health & safety, artist and record label liaison
and post event analysis
• Devising a comprehensive events strategy in line with senior management and the Xfm brand incorporating live
concerts, club nights, intimate live sessions, outside broadcasts, corporate golf days, staff team building events and the Winter Wonderland live concert at Cardiff University with over 1800 attendees
• Collaborating extensively with the programming department in order to maximise the marketing of all events,
ensuring immediate success and generating revenue
• Managing a dedicated Xfm Street Team of 20 staff members at all events in addition to providing conceptual
developments on events for 3rd party clients
