I'm offering
Experienced advertising account handling and communications consultancy
Is it ok to think work should be fun? For over twenty years of working in advertising, I have made it a priority. Why? Because it brings out the best in me, my clients and my colleagues. When you have enjoyable, trusting relationships you also go the extra mile for each other to ensure great results.
I've worked with big brands like Guinness and Visa, experienced the fast-paced retail sector, launched start-ups, and led campaigns for Government departments and specialist B2B brands. I love creativity and solving problems and take huge satisfaction from building relationships and making a tangible difference to my client's business.
Now I have diversified my working life.
I love coming into agencies to work on projects. My experience means I can hit the ground running and handle any kind of challenge.
I also work as a freelance consultant, partnering with smaller nimble brands who need a communications partner that behaves like them. I assemble and lead bespoke teams of freelance professionals to help brands meet their challenges by bringing services such as advertising, brand positioning and brand design, at a price that's attainable.
I am also keen to take copywriting briefs - specialising in long copy for brochures, websites and blogs.

Business Director
Team Saatchi.
At Team Saatchi I fell in love with working on a tight team with smaller
brands. I enjoyed the diversity of having a wide range of projects rather than
a single big client and loved leading the 'new business' push that led to us
winning projects for Wonderful Pistachios, PGT Furniture, TWLV, The London
Philharmonic Orchestra and Quality Solicitors.

Old El Paso
I made sure the nation never forgot exactly who to get their Mexican home dinners from.
Guinness Africa and Caribbean
When most people think of Guinness they think of St Patricks Day and cosy pubs on a winters day without realising that more Guinness is sold in Nigeria than in Ireland.
I led a team of Saatchi & Saatchi agencies in South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon and Trinidad who between them serviced the key Guinness markets in Africa and the Caribbean. Managing the core Guinness brand, the launch of Guinness Extra Smooth and the non-alcoholic Malta Guinness, we looked after every aspect of their marketing from TV and outdoor campaigns to promotions, in bar experiences and even branded bar furniture that drove impressive growth in the brands' fastest-growing markets.
Guinness 250
Not many brands have been around for 250 years and this wasn’t a moment that could pass without a proper celebration. In a global initiative, I led the European ‘Tribe’ that pitched for and won the right to host this global party to honour Arthur Guinness - the founder of the brand on 'Arthur's Day'.
Visa
When you pull together a team of five 'Publicis Group' agencies to work as one and win the right to deliver the marketing for Visa’s Sponsorship of the Olympics and FIFA World Cup, communication and strong relationships are key. I took on the role of ‘link man’ between the winning teams meaning that Visa always experienced a completely joined-up approach to all our work.
Toyota
The Toyota brand has built a fearsome reputation for reliability so it was a challenging time when I led the agency team through their first-ever product recalls.

Comet
Everyone told me retail was fast-moving but I didn't really appreciate how fast until I had made over 100 TV ads, 1000 print ads and launched 20 new stores. There was no better way for me to learn about production and the importance of having bulletproof systems in place.
Carlsberg Tetley
I couldn't think of a better way to start my career in advertising than getting to work on a portfolio of iconic beer brands - Carlsberg, Carlsberg Export, Tetley’s Bitter and Castlemaine XXXX.
