• A family business - Worked with new MD who had been tasked to 'clean up' an aging family business. Reviewed and re-built each area of the business leading to a 're-launch' with a new philosophy and vigour.
• Newco - 'Hand held' new team of Directors from business plan to initial financing for branded product retail and wholesale launch. Including staffing, retail locations, operational set up, product development, buying terms, etc.
• Security company - Reviewed, re designed and re launched online and offline marketing footprints and client & staff interaction and relationship systems. Updated all internal systems and recruited and trained new staff leading to three major new clients brought on stream in first 10 days
• On Brand Marketing - Designed and presented marketing solutions together with the MD for large clients to engage them in reviews of online and offline marketing, GDPR implementation. Initiated, developed, set up and took part in exhibitions.
• Smart Tailor Intl.- As consultant to the owners in Asia to set up product development, design, manufacturing and operational hubs in Asia and the UK for clothing and associated products to be sold worldwide. Set up, selected, trained and managed the sales team. Sold the operation to another Asian Group for a large profit.
• SGA International Group - Worked out of Hong Kong, Ho Chi Min, New York and London setting the company up to be able to work with the UK, USA and Europe, including Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Galleries Lafayette, Gap, Sears and C&A International for various products. Achieved an increase in sales of over 97% by re-structuring supplier communication, building teams, instilling disciplines and designing simple operational procedures.
• Top-level International Clothing - Consulted (externally and in secrecy) on plans to initiate a new sub brand including employing design and buying teams, sourcing routes, retail store location and management and operational requirements.
• A well-known International brand - As part of a team developed a strategy for brand improvement and expansion in a number of new product areas. I built, nurtured and operated the development and buying team on the ground in various (mainly Asian) locations as well as the sales and marketing teams in the UK. The project was a major success and the brand continues to expand with a new 'family' feel.
• A tier 1 UK retailer / brand - Worked to involve their suppliers more in day to day relationship building and communication, Internationally.
• A Police Force - Project management for a specialist area of external communication with multiple specific partner and community groups.
• New Process - Set up initial wireframe for major new product concept including all business plans, financial plans, operating procedures and sourcing. Negotiated and contracted specialist interim and ongoing partners. Took this concept to first round of funding for the owners which are currently at stage two of development.
