Recent Employment Position

CSP Ltd - Compliance Advisor October 2018 - October 2019

My time at CSP as a Compliance Advisor, has consisted of me implementing new structures and processes, that has allowed the department to run efficiently, to assist with driving results and efficiency within the People Team functionality of the Business.

Recruitment and Resources:
• Facilitate with Recruitment days, held at either our HQ or client sites
• Providing new starters with information on SIA vetting
• Reviewing Right to Work documents for new starters
• Requesting and chasing outstanding documents for the onboarding process - Training courses and forms
• Onboarding new starters - Updating CRM system/data recording spreadsheets accordingly, with new starter information
• Producing company ID Cards for new starters
• Being first point of contact for external sites Managers for new starter queries

HR:
• Undertaking specific RTW checks to ensure that our existing staff members were in line with Home Office checks
• Assisting HR Department with any Right to Work Queries
• Training new full-time staff members on Right to Work - in line with the Home Office guidelines

Compliance:
• First point of contact for any SIA related queries, within the business
• Conducting the SIA Screening in line with the British Standards BS7858 guidelines for new and existing staff members, which consisted of:
- Right to Work Checks
- Obtaining character references
- SIA Licence Checks
- Address History checks
- Financial checks
- Employment history checks for each operative for the past 5 years and providing further assistance where this cannot be met.
• Reviewing the internal Compliance process and implementing new structures to improve results
• Regularly chasing documentation from individuals going through the process and keeping all parties up to date
• Highlighting any risk factors to internal stakeholders
• Setting up and applying for SIA Licence's through the SIA website
• Issuing LDNs where required
• Assist and administer SIA licence renewals for contracted and casual employees, where required
• Run weekly reports on SIA licence expiry dates and updating CRM systems accordingly to reflect the outcome of this
• Assisting with the SIA ACS Audit, where required - October 2019- Passed
• Processing DBS Applications for Traffic Accredited Officers (CSAS)
• Day to day admin duties - filing, faxing, scanning, in line with GDPR.

As well as the above, I have also trained my current Temporary Compliance Assistant and Compliance Administrator to a successful level on a vast amount of the above duties within the role.
