Within Virgin Media Business jointly led the E2E strategic programme for 18 month period. The project captured a current state VSM and covered from order to first bill. Facilitated numerous E2E workshops with key stakeholders and senior management from all areas of the workstream. Over 50 quick win opportunities identified along with larger scale projects recognised from each area. Led projects from within business managing, coaching and mentoring project teams in Lean practices. Projects worked on were Sales Reciept of Clean Order which error proofed the process removing 19FTE from a validation team saving over £500k. Other projects involved implementation of Lean 'model offices' within both Business Provide and Business Resource Centres. Improvements seen were typical 20% uplift in productivity which increased 'Delivery on Time to customer' metric from 37% to 86% yielding in excess of £5million in savings. Business Resource Centre also saw further reduction of 26FTE from their validation process saving an additional £800k.
Other areas worked within VM were shared services redesigning their back office function and processes resulting in £1million savings and Field Installations which also yielded in excess of £1.5m in savings. In addition, involved significantly in supporting the Operational Excellence Academy teaching, coaching and mentoring to LERC level 1c along with Sigma YB, GB and BB. Also acted as Interim Head of Role within Customer complaints to stabilise the operation on a short term basis and over a 3 month period complaints dropped by 12%.
