Interesting fact about me: I've walked the entire way from Mexico to Canada. Twice. Some 5000+ miles. And that's barely scratching the surface of my 'hiking career'. But when I'm not out exploring the mountains, I work as a project administrator, normally for a digital content agency based in London. As it stands they have eagerly rehired me six times and counting, which is fairly flattering.
Why do they keep asking me back? My organisational skills play a large part. I love planning and logistics, and I'm good at it. I'm very conscientious, bright, highly organised, and hardworking. I'm often told my spreadsheets are a thing of beauty. And I get on easily and well with colleagues and clients alike.
Over the last few years I've managed several large scale content projects for well known clients. I work more or less independently from the agency and take on a number of roles: liaising with clients, research and idea gen, project planning, budgeting and financial reporting, coordinating freelancers and contractors, content creation and production, editing, managing client feedback and amends... whatever is needed. And if there's any spare time I get on with the writing itself.
