Creative Lead
Covéa Insurance.
I took the role of Creative Lead at a large insurance company outside of Maidstone in Kent. My roles
included time management of work and staff, managing the print relationship and ensuring all work
was made to a professional and consistent level. I was given full control of a wide range of artwork
including all marketing merchandise and broker branded material to help assist external companies sell
our products. When Covéa purchased Sterling, I managed the re-brand, working with all areas of the company to ensure that the visual and legal re-brands were completed to a high standard. To ensure
this, I got resource signed off to bring in 2 freelancers to make sure none of the team were stressed or burnt out. The project took just under 6 months and resulted in the team winning a company-wide
award for our achievement.

job
Graphics Assistant
Portobello Art.
At Portobello, I worked with companies such as ITV, Premier Inn and The Hilton Hotel Group. I would
be in contact with clients via phone and email on a one to one basis in order to offer them a personal
service in sourcing the correct style of artwork for their projects.

During my time at University I worked on many diverse projects in order to push myself to learn as
much as possible. Covering Web Design, Social Media management and Print, as well as Graphic
Design, I created projects that I still work on today. I created Typespire, a typography blog, to exercise
my campaign management abilities. I developed strategies to engage users and by the end of the first month, I was getting approximately 600 unique visitors to my website, solely down to social
media, and mail campaigns. Today, I have 400,000+ users on social media and often work with companies to advertise their products through my website and social media. I am a keen runner,
having completed the London marathon twice in aid of charity and am also a 'co-landlord' to a mobile
pub that specialises in Real Ale.
