My background:

I have years of experience of designing websites, social media management, VLE creation and management (using Moodle) and website and web systems testing for the Department of Education and other organisations.

I have managed the social media accounts (Facebook and Twiter) for a teacher training organisation. As part of this, I created innovative content to promote the teacher training course as well as upcoming events. In my time managing these accounts, I increased the number of followers as well as the number of likes, shares and comments.

I have created marketing materials for both web and print distribution.

I have designed and developed a Microsoft Access database system that was used by the PGCE Course team at Keele University for over ten years. At this point, a university-wide system came into place which replaced it.

I have been a lover of computers since a young child, and there is even a photo of me at 18 months trying to have a go at typing and using a computer!

As a follower of the fast-moving ever-developing technology world, I am always looking for ways to enhance my skills by trying out new software and technologies and attending conferences and webinars. I am regularly coming up with new ideas to incorporate into my work.
