I take a strategic and determined approach to improve how organisations deliver value from their technology. I have experience across the breadth of modern technologies, using a strategical view to update and innovate ways of working. This has been most recently demonstrated at Slater and Gordon Lawyers, where I led a successful migration to Office 365 and Azure AD, as well as deploy Microsoft Managed Desktop (the first in the world), alongside software consolidation and a complete re-design of business practice using technology as the trigger.
I work closely with business and technology stakeholders to set a strategic direction which delivers value and can be implemented. I've created and led teams to deliver technical change as well as keep the business running in the background.
I work effectively across both directly and indirectly managed resources. Reporting directly into the CIO, I have had involvement across all areas of the department, not only Business and technology change, but, managing budgets, handling large teams, dealing with business stakeholders, helping form decisions and push change. Throughout my 8 years at Slater and Gordon I have reported into 7-8 different CIO's and have proven to adapt and work successfully with each of them.
My experience spans major IT Programme delivery and management of large teams. Most recently in the Law sector, and before that a Managed Service Provider.

Responsible for all Systems and Infrastructure serving 2500 employees, as well as leading the line in technical innovation and digitisation across the firm. Reporting directly to the CIO and working on the IT Leadership Team. I also had a responsibility across the business to set and implement a technology strategy which maximised existing investment as well as setting a journey to cloud strategy.
For the past 12 months I have been running a massive program of technical innovation and digitisation across the firm. This includes migrating our entire user base onto Office 365 and deploying a Managed Desktop Service from Microsoft (MMD). We were the first firm in the world to deploy this service outside of BETA. Along with this, we have been consolidating our Case Management systems down to one (we have many due to mergers and acquisitions), and improving the working lives of our Lawyers. At the same time as running these two projects we have also embarked on mission to re-design and automate the RTA (Road Traffic Accident) and PI (Personal Injury) side of the business, using Azure customer portals, and machine learning. I am in the perfect position to bring value to any company looking to progress through their Digital Transformation as well as develop a strategy going forwards.
