Managed the marketing, communications and events functions of SOE. Responsible for meeting challenging growth targets on membership, registration, full-cost products and around 250 events per year to support a £3m income target.
Role successes:
• Key member of SOE's website and CRM cross-functional project team, responsible for an agile approach to evaluate existing processes, plan and manage business change, and work to install and embed Dynamics 365 and the new soe.org.uk website. This included heavy input into the specification as well as digital project and supplier management. I led on aspects of design, functionality and content for the new site
• Grew student and apprentice membership by over 200%, exceeded new paid membership against target and saw SOE as one of only four 'Top Ten PEIs' to see a YoY net gain in Engineering Council registrants
• Took responsibility for GDPR compliance at SOE. Assessed and, where necessary, overhauled all data policies and procedures to ensure they were fit for the changing regulations whilst safeguarding the ability of SOE's staff and expansive volunteer network to function effectively
